The Powel Crosley Theatre is pleased to offer educational opportunities to students for all of its productions.

- enhance and illuminate classical literature through the experience of live theatre
- include a post-performance question and answer session with the acting company
Our in-school workshops...
- prepare students for the theatre experience
- provide students with tools to decipher heightened language
- help students develop an “ear” for poetry and prose
Study guides include...
- a glossary for better comprehension of the text as well as an enhancement of the student's vocabulary
- timelines for historical and cultural context
- lists of helpful resources such as texts, periodicals, websites, films, etc.
- discussion questions and project ideas
Student performances tickets cost just $8 per student; teachers and a limited number of chaperones are admitted free of charge with the students.

Support the Powel Crosley Theatre education program!
Over 2,300 students from area schools have attended our private student performances! Individuals can support the education program with a minimum $40 tax-deductible donation, which helps cover the cost of student tickets, school visits by an actor and study guides.
Corporations are encouraged to support the Powel Crosley Theatre education program as well. Corporate education sponsors receive a quarter-page ad in our theatre program as well as your logo or mention on the education page of our program. Corporate education sponsorships are also tax-deductible.
